Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Barricade Blues

This is my failed attempt at a barricade in front of the baby gate to prevent the kids from going through. E was through it less than a minute after I walked away. She is nicely shutting the gate behind her.

Bed Rolls

E fell out of our camping bed this morning. She was happy, warm and asleep, so I left her. I did cover her with an extra blanket just to make sure she wouldn't cool off.

She wasn't quite as happy when I left the two of them in the tent to try to brush my teeth. There was a whole lot of yelling and pounding on the tent walls.

A Hard Day's Night

E had a really hard afternoon.

She revived enough to horse around and try to stay up really late.

Water For Elephants

We went camping this weekend with a bunch of family. My parents used to take my siblings and me camping all the time when we were kids. They started in tents and worked their way up to a trailer. They got rid of the trailer years ago and haven't been camping since. They joined us this weekend and brought this bute! It reminds me of the book Water for Elephants, probably because it's a little circus like. They have another tent that sleeps 8 people. It's probably note quite as huge as I remember, but I dubbed it "the Duggar's tent" because I remember it being absolutely enormous.

Mad Mad Madison

Only in Madison would you see a guy driving down the road on a moped, wearing a suite and with a bluetooth in his ear.

Tales from the First Grade

I tried to stand E up today to take a picture of her skirt. She was less than impressed and let me know by screaming at me. She slid off the couch and pulled her skirt so high that she looked like a first grader who had just used the restroom.

Poe-tay-toe Puh-tah-toe

It only takes a second of me turning my back and they are into something. I grabbed the broom out of the closet to sweep up under their chairs after lunch. I should have shut the door, but thought it would be okay for the few seconds I was gone. Nope. A found a potato to chew on and E was rolling an acorn squash around.
