Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Toothbrush Woes

Zia impaled herself with a toothbrush today. She came down the stairs at my parents house, holding her toothbrush. I only heard one little thud, so I assume she tried to walk down the last step and fell. She managed to land on the toothbrush, in her mouth, so it stabbed her in the cheek. When I found her, she was sitting up with her toothbrush hanging out of her mouth. I asked my mom, the nurse, who asked my dad, the dentist, if we should pull it. I could see that it wasn't in anything but the fleshy part of her cheek. Once pulled, she had a nice size wound, but it didn't bleed nearly as much as I expected. Her tongue has bled way worse when she's bitten that. She was very unhappy most of the night. It obviously hurt when she laid on it and she ended up laying next to me and nursing most of the night.

These two are busy trying to teach Zia all sorts of tricks to hurt herself.

I made April a new skirt today. I'm sure the girls are going to love it.

I had a little fun with April today. That poor Elf.

Demon Eyes

Look at her little demon eyes. LOL. She really did not want to go to sleep tonight.

Party Elf

She just couldn't put down that pretzel. The second she finished nursing, she popped up and started eating it again.

She likes to drink and drive.

She is trying to be helpful, but it is so not helpful when she removes the dirty dishes from the dishwasher.

So, April got into trouble today. That crazy elf.

We had our own little party today too. Everyone was happy except Zia. She wanted to nurse and the other two were in her way.

Bag Ladies

I love this picture. They can make my days so busy and sometimes difficult, but they also make me laugh all the time.

April watched them today, so tonight she is in a bag for tomorrow morning.

Cards for Troops

I picked the twins up from school today and April hitched a ride. They were so excited. It was so much fun to watch them light up when they saw her. From school, we went to a friend's house who is doing 25 acts of kindness. Most of her activities are things with just her kids. The others are mainly scheduled during school hours, so we can't do them. Today's activity was making cards to send to troops. The twins loved doing it and made some really cute cards.

Zia has discovered how much fun it is to lick the beaters. Now there are three kid and two beaters. I foresee some fights in our future.

Christmas Tree

April brought Santa hats for all three girls today and left Eiley a card. It's a good thing the girls don't remember buying these Santa hats on clearance with me last year after Christmas. When I bought them, I didn't plan on having April give the hats to them, but it worked out well. I'm typing this up a month later. I meant to have April leave a card for Arya and Zia as well. I brought their cards up from the basement and put them next to the microwave. Arya kept talking about when April would leave her a note and I got so busy with the doll house that I never got around to writing a card for Arya. Major Mom Fail.

The girls and I all made these cornucopias for Thanksgiving. They were on table with candy in them for each person. I forgot to post a picture before, but wanted to make sure I included it. I love that the kids like to do little projects as much as I do.

We went and cut down a Christmas tree today. I'm excited to have the house decorated for Christmas for a long time. Having kids makes it so much fun.
