Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Milk Truck

We're at my parents' house today and plan on going to an apple orchard tomorrow. Both A&E are bad at taking a nap when they are somewhere different. They are great if they are in an Ergo carrier, but not if they have to sleep in a crib. Neither wanted to nap today, so I thought I'd lay down with them. They preferred to climb all over me instead.

Cork came to check on us and tried to take a picture, but by then they were back on the move. He did take this pic which cracks me up since they're both checking out the milk truck.

Vomit Comet

Arya spent a good portion of last night throwing up. I felt miserable yesterday and nauseous before going to bed, but thought I was over tired and that it was all in my head. Apparently not. While I didn't throw up, I felt like it every time I was up. Thankfully Cork took charge and changed her sheets every time she puked on them.

Today, she's bounced back much better than me. She and E did take a really long nap, about 2.5 hours, which is extremely unusual around here. E spent a good hour of that sleeping on Cork while he watched football. It gave him a good excuse to sit and be unproductive.

Booger Baby and Sidekick Snot

A&E are full of snot this week. They both have a touch of a cold and are teething. If they were super heroes, they could be Booger Baby and Sidekick Snot. Not sure who is which, but neither would wear a cape.

Baby Maternity

I got out fall decorations today while A&E took an afternoon nap. They woke up, had a snack, and then discovered the decorations right away. They absolutely love the little doorknob monsters.

The pants they are wearing are from my least favorite store, Walmart. Thankfully I didn't have to go there to buy them as someone gave the to us. The waist band is supposed to fold down, but both of the girls spent all day long looking like they were wearing maternity pants. Maybe Walmart has tapped into a brand new market.

Chutes and Ladders

A&E figured out how to go up the ladder to our play set. Now they go up the ladder and down the slide on their own. They would happily go down the ladder, but they aren't safe on it yet, so I stay behind them and won't let them dome back down. If there was only one of them it would be different. Right now they plow each other over if they are trying to go opposite directions.

Food Steps for the Needy

They love to raid my cabinets. E's new favorite thing to take is a bag of lentils. A loves to grab tea, bite into the tea bags and nibble on the tea leaves. I need to get a pic of her doing that.

Instead of the tea pic, I have a pic of A trying to get into her high chair. She pushed a container of cat food to the chair to give herself a little step.

Trick and Treat

I put A&E down, facing me, and instantly started shooting. It's hard to get them to sit still long enough to get a picture of both toge

I won these Trick and Treat shirts off of Etsy last week. Of course I had to try them on the girls right away and make sure they fit.
