Pant Hike

The girls' imagination has gone wild recently. They are so adorable to watch when they are pretending. Their newest thing is to eat things. They will grab food out of a book and feed it to themselves, each other, us, their stuffed animals.

I love Arya's shirt, but am not a fan of how high her pants are hiked up right now.

Beautiful

While Arya was busy being super cranky tonight, Eiley was busy being very goofy. I love this picture of her.

Pant Malfunction

Now that the kids aren't wearing diapers, they have a lot more pant malfunctions.

New Backpacks

My sister called this morning. In the few minutes I talked to her, Eiley helped herself to a bag of shredded cheese.

The girls and I went out today and they found some backpack rollerbags they really wanted. Normally I'm really careful about our spending and wouldn't just buy these, but they were so cute that I couldn't resist. Eiley pulled her bag until she saw Arya pushing it like a stroller and then both pushed them. They helped pack some stuff in it once we got home and are so excited to bring their bags on an overnight trip this weekend. I included both pics of the girls to show how Arya refuses to give a real smile once the camera comes out.

Musical Toothbrush

Today was a hard day. Arya was screaming at me most of the day. She even fell asleep mid yell while I was cleaning my shower. She was unhappy no matter what I did. I thought maybe she had an ear ache, but when I asked if her ears hurt she said "no." She wasn't any happier after her nap than she was before. She finally changed and was in a good mood around 5:00, right around the time Eiley decided she'd pick up the cranky roll for the day.

We'll see how often Cork reads this blog by how fast he mentions this post. I completely forgot to tell him that I found Eiley using his toothbrush today.

Poppy

Potty training twins is interesting. I think you can say we are actively trying to potty train now. The girls have been in underwear for a week now. Things are going great for the most part. Today both kids had an accident. I don't want to have to ask them every 10 minutes if they have to go. Eiley told me she didn't have to while we were out and I made her since we were all in a bathroom already. Her bladder was definitely full. This afternoon, I made them both wear a diaper since they had an accident. Neither was happy about it. Both used the potty after I put the diapers on and while Eiley went she kept talking about how she was using the "poppy" and not going in her under.wear.

Peek A Boo

Arya plays peek a boo with the baby almost every day now. i love how she covers my belly button as if that's the way into the baby.

Speaking of the baby, I think she might be nameless until her first birthday at the rate we're going. I can't settle on anything.
