You know it's been a rough day when I purposely park my kid in front of plastic shopping bags in hopes that the bags will stop her outbursts. She ransacked the back as I watched and then started yelling again. Both kids were in a bad mood most of the day. We didn't follow our usual routine and that may have something to do with it. I had an appointment for them at 1:00 and had to leave the house at 12:15 to get there. I fed them before they really wanted lunch and then threw them in the car. We didn't get home until about 3:00 and by then they'd had it.
