Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Adult Proof Toys

We went to a baptism today that was at a service an hour later than the one we usually attend. That gave us some extra time to kill this morning. Cork and I were playing with this toy and quickly found out that it had been adult proofed. There is a setting where each leg will make the sound of a different letter. The toy will not play A and S right in a row. It will not play F and then C or F and then K. There are a few words it shouldn't do that it sort of pronounces, but basically the manufacturer took all the adult fun out of this child's toy. All they left was the repetition a parent has to listen to. If a parent has to listen to the same thing over and over and over again, the toy should at least have a parent setting in which we can make it swear if we want.
