Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Heaven Has One More Angel Tonight


Today I was going to post something entirely different. I wrote a draft while the kids napped and just needed to take a picture to go along with it.

At 5:04 this afternoon I called one of my really good friends as she'd called but had not left a message. She answered the phone and I immediately knew something was wrong. She is 20 weeks pregnant and found out at her ultrasound today that her daughter's heart is no longer beating. Anything else I could post seems so insignificant compared to the loss of her daughter.

Tonight I held my little girls tighter and gave them an extra kiss before bed.
