Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Happy as a Clam

Our adorable little girls were baptized today. Sixteen family members joined us for the church service and lunch at our place after. I lie a little when I say that the girls were happy as clams. They woke up early and barely napped before the service. They were tired and Eiley was still sick. Cork and I both ended up standing in the back of the service, each with a kid, before the baptism. The girls are usually really good in church, but we also usually have a few kids around us that keep them entertained. We weren't in our usual place and they got bored.

My mom, Nana, made their gorgeous dresses. I picked out the pattern, but she did all the work, so I can't take credit for the dresses at all. I can take credit for most of the food, including a great chocolate cake decorated with the design for the baptismal bulletin. I love cooking, especially for a crowd and had so much fun preparing things for today.
