Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Craptastrophy 2011

The nice weather we had yesterday did not stick around. We woke up to cold weather and had showers on and off all day today. We could usually see the showers coming, so we could pack things up, load the tents and dive into them for cover.

We made the best of the cold weather by sitting around the campfire and roasting marshmallows. My mom had the genius idea of bringing peeps. For something that really isn't good to eat normally, they were pretty good roasted.  The sugar on the outside caramelized. Yum!

The campground we went to was chosen partly because of its location but also for the activities available. We didn't get to do a lot of what was available because of the weather. We did get to meet Smoky the Bear and we bought some really good local honey.

Eiley decided it was time for Craptastrophy 2011 and gave us the biggest blowout we've had in well over a year. Our cloth diapers at home just don't blow out. She pooped the biggest poop and no disposable diaper was holding that thing in. The worst part of it was that we didn't realize it at first. By the time we realized she'd pooped, both Cork and I had poop on our coats and she had it on her pants and 2 shirts. Thankfully it did not get on her coat as well.
