On Sunday night, the girls decided that they wanted to sleep in their new beds. We put them to bed and then we listened for them. They were very quiet, but Cork heard a little thumping, so he checked on them. He found Arya in bed and Eiley laying under Arya's bed. Eiley decided they needed a snack, so we brought them downstairs, fed them and brought them back up. At 9:30, we told them they were done with the new room and we put them in the cribs. They were still quiet, but both were out of bed playing with the socks they'd pulled out of the dresser.
Today, they couldn't decide at nap time where they wanted to sleep. Arya said she wanted her crib and Eiley wanted her new bed. I put them where they wanted and Arya had a rough go. She did not like being in her bedroom by herself. Eventually she decided to join Eiley in their new room. After a short time of playing in their beds, they actually fell asleep in them. Woohoo!
Tonight, they both wanted to go back into the new room and the twin beds and went right to sleep...after they'd gotten up one to eat an enormous snack.
