Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

To Dairy or not to Dairy

Arya is not a big fan of dairy products. She'll eat ice cream and would eat sugar filled yogurt if I bought it. She won't eat plain yogurt, whip cream, cream cheese or any of the other dairy products Eiley loves. We went out to dinner tonight and Eiley happily ate a cream puff at the end of the meal. I believe it was by far her favorite part of the meal. Arya chose to eat a slice of white cake with a little chocolate filling. She stayed far away from the whip cream puff.

While they share almost all of their DNA, our two kids are very different and remind me of this every day. Eiley threw one of her fits in the car today while Arya was yelling "No Eiley" at her. This afternoon, Eiley threw a 30 minute fit in her room while Arya snuggled with Cork on the couch. We put the kids to bed tonight and they wanted to lay as they always do. Eiley likes to sleep with just her blanky covering her. She refuses to let us cover her with her sheet, blanket or bedspread from her bed. Arya on the other hand likes to be covered with the sheet, blanket and bedspread and likes to hold her blanky next to her.

While they are different, they also are very similar. We went to my brother's new house today and they instantly started running around the open spaces, screaming and laughing in the same exact voices.
