Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

One Small Step for Arya, One Giant Leap for Arya-Cini

Six Months! I can't believe it. To celebrate her sixth month my little rice ball* decided to finally find her toes. She's known about Eiley's toes for awhile now, but hadn't found her own. Today she picked her little legs up and was amazed at what she found on the end of them. I love watching their little minds grow.

Eiley celebrated her birthday continuing her really bad cold. My poor child hasn't felt well in days. I feel so bad for her. I've been getting up in the middle of the night to the sound of her coughing. I pick her up even though she's not crying because I hate to hear that hacking cough and feel like she'd be more comfortable if she were up right.

*Arancini are delicious little fried balls of risotto, usually stuffed with a little meat, cheese and veggies. Arya got the nick name Arya-cini soon after birth. I don't know how it started, but it fits, especially since Arya is an Italian name.
