Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Two Double Four

When I was a child, I used to love to give my mom two chips that were stuck together. I called those type of chips "two double fours." I got a two double four in a bag of chips today and was all excited about it.

Some days A&E go in different directions and I'm chasing them every which way. Other days they decide to be like a two double four and they stick together. Those are the days when I know quiet means trouble. I knew they were in the bathroom while I was changing laundry. They were being extremely quiet while they were in there and I was pretty sure what I'd be greeted with when I got them.
I walked in on Ingogh (the cat) totally attacking one of the kids' stuffed animals, a giraffe. He looked like he was out for blood. The second I walked into the room he stopped and looked very embarrassed. I couldn't stop laughing because it reminded me of Enzo and the Zebra from The Art of Racing in the Rain. If you've read the book you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. If you haven't read the book you need to.
