We still aren't actively potty training around here, but Arya really loves to use the potty. I was trying to gather the kids up this morning to get them showered and dressed so we could get out the door. Arya ran upstairs while I chased Eiley down. By the time I grabbed Eiley and went upstairs, Arya was sitting on the potty all by herself. Pretty impressive. She'd taken her pajamas and diaper off and climbed on up there. She's only ever used a small seat that sets into a toilet, she's never sat on just a regular toilet seat. She's so tiny that she could easily fall in. I was impressed at her balancing skills.
I wasn't so impressed with her timeline. She'd apparently po.oped in her diaper before shedding it and then climbed into the toilet. The joys of parenthood! I had to clean poop off of her, the floor, the wall and the toilet.
