Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

A Long Drive

We got up super early this morning and were out of the house by 4:00 am. The oldest 2 were so excited that they did not sleep for a long time. They were so cute and kept saying things like "we goin' to Boston now?" they are beyond excited for our trip. We drove hard, stopping when we needed a bathroom break or when Zia needed to eat. By 6:30 pm (eastern time) we were in Syracuse and met up with a couple friends at a park. We had a picnic and the kids got some much needed play time. When it started to get dark, we left the playground and everyone went to our hotel to take the kids swimming. You'd think that the twins would have been super worn out, which they were, but we still couldn't get them to sleep until 11:15. They were super charged. They also slept like logs and Arya wet the bed for the first time in probably 5 or 6 months. She's only done that a couple times since she was potty trained. Poor kid was so tired that she didn't even wake up when I washed up up and put new pajama bottoms on her. Thankfully I had just finished feeding Zia when this happened and was able to get a towel down before it soaked through.

Miss Zia did awesome on our drive. She cried more than she usually does in a week, but that still wasn't much. She was just frustrated that we weren't feeding her right when she wanted.
