Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Mangy Birds

V: Stop playing on the couch.
E: We're not playing, we're just dancing around.

V: Don't put your dirty little mitts in there. as E reaches into a bag of pretzels with super dirty hands
A: What dirty little mitts?
E: Dese dirty little mitts! Holds her hands up for A to see

We did an art project today involving paint, feathers, glue and scissors. That plus two toddlers and breastfeeding makes for one huge mess in the kitchen and a finished product that looks like mangy birds. My kitchen looked like someone had plucked neon chickens in a glue factory.

Eiley dressed herself today. We were already at the zoo before I realized she wasn't wearing any un.der.wea.r. Tonight, Arya didn't make it to the bathroom in time and leaked a little. I didn't know that until she was tossing her unde.rwe.ar around the family room, told me they were wet and then told me to touch them. I sent the girls upstairs to get new un.de.rwear before bed. Arya came back down with those, socks, a Tinkerbell dress and a fairy wand. She announced "My got everything I need."

I love the big smiles we're getting.
