Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Neglectasaucer

We were playing in the girls' kitchen today and Arya called Cork on her phone to let him know his banana pancakes were done. This was the first time she had a full one sided conversation on the phone. Usually it's a simple "hello, bye" type thing. She kept talking and then would respond as if Cork was asking her questions on the other end.

I put Zia in her neglectasaucer for the first time today. She loved it! I only left her in there for a couple minutes because her feet don't quite touch the ground and I didn't have anything under her to stand on. She would have happily spent more time in there.

My youngest siblings and I all made plates as children. We drew on pieces of paper, sent those away and the drawings were put onto a plate. My youngest brother uses his when he brings appetizers to a family dinner. We recently asked my parents what they thought of the plate the first time they saw it because he had drawn a big red pen.i.s on it. Of course that wasn't what it was supposed to be, but that's what it looked like. Miss Arya drew a bunch of these today. I now know how my parents felt. She hung this on the fridge herself and I cracked up when I walked into the kitchen and saw it.
