Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Wine?

I was dusting our front window seat today and saw that Arya was going to jump from the couch to the window. When I told her not to she told me "When you not in here, EileyArya do dat all da time." Wonderful child.

Zia willingly at her first food today. She barely ate anything, but she really wanted it. She keeps gagging when I try to give her purees, so I think baby led weaning is the route we'll go. I gave her some cut up grapes and goat milk gouda. She loved both and happily chewed away. As I said though, she barely ate any. She's just interested in tasting things, but not actually getting calories from them yet. Which is fine with me. I know that she really only needs milk the first year, so as long as she's gaining weight, I won't push the solids. Maybe I should have given her a little cup of wine to make her meal complete.
