Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Ice Cream Sundae

We started our day today in Clearwater and planned on driving to Tampa, spending a few hours at the zoo, and then finishing our drive to Orlando. Eiley had a major meltdown in the car on the way to Tampa. We got a few blocks from the zoo and made the tough decision to skip it all together. We continued driving and went straight to Orlando. Both of the girls were disappointed, but in hindsight it was the best decision. They were so tired and really needed a day to rest before we tackled Disney.

After dinner, we headed to Downtown Disney. We spent a little time at the Lego store and some time at Ghiradelli.  The twins picked a mint chocolate sundae. Not what Cork or I would have picked, but we let them decide. I could only have a few bites, but it was surprisingly pretty good.

Zia refused to go to sleep at the hotel tonight. Our plan was to get the kids all well rested so they would be ready for Disney tomorrow. Zia refused to sleep and I ended up walking her around in the Ergo to knock her out. The other two were tired, but totally wired. We turned off the lights and they still wouldn't calm down. It was around 9:00 before they fell asleep.
