Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

No Yike Dat

I put Arya's plate in front of her at lunch today. She pushed it away and exclaimed "No Yike Dat!" She is definitely a 2 year old. She had roasted chickpeas on her plate, which she loves. She happily ate them after her nap today. She was just getting tired and while she was hungry, she refused to eat just about anything I offered her.

Later in the day, I was letting them color at their picnic table. Eiley ran into the house and slammed the sliding door shut. I went in to get her and by the time I came out Arya had drawn all over herself and was in the process of using green marker like chapstick. She was smacking her lips together after each swipe like she does when she applies chapstick all over her face.
