Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Gingerbread Pinata

Many people on Facebook say one thing they are thankful for each day in November. I've been doing it this year, but try to make it light and funny. Today, I'm thankful that Arya tried to move our haunted gingerbread house and dropped it. The kids did not want to get rid of it. Her breaking two of the sides apart allowed me to throw it out with no fits or screaming from the older two.You can't see the destruction in this picture, but there was no fixing this thing. The girls were grabbing gingerbread pieces and candy off the ground like a pinata had broken.

The girls were playing kitties tonight. And as all normal kids do, they were trying to lick their own butt like cats do. Of course it wasn't working. Eiley looked up and said "I like vag.ina." Wow! How do you respond to that? I tried not to laugh and would have ignored it, but Arya was cracking up because Eiley had said the V word. Once I knew I wasn't going to laugh, I had to explain to Eiley that she shouldn't say things like that. I was afraid that after Arya laughed, if I ignored it, Eiley would repeat it at preschool.
