Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Another Christmas Party

We've been busy lately. I feel like every day we're on the go, but the kids love it. The kids didn't go to bed until 10:00 pm last night...which means they slept in a whole 30 minutes more today than they usually do. They were so tired, but had no interest in sleeping. This morning we took them to Cork's company's kid Christmas party. They had a ball there, getting their faces painted and picking out balloon animals. We had to stand in line forever for each thing, but they wanted to do that instead of play the games that were set up. Cork set a timer for the balloon line and it took us 40 minutes to get to the front. We should have just gone to a party store and bought balloons since Arya wanted a dog and Eiley wanted a kitty. The balloon lady was willing to make all sorts of things and these two pick a cat and a dog after standing in line for 40 minutes. They played with the cat and dog all afternoon though, so it was worth it.

After the party, we went out to lunch with gift certificates a neighbor had given them for trick or treating. His kid owns a local burger and custard dive, so he always has certificates to hand out. We were all starving after the party. I ate incredibly fast and then sat around for the next 40 minutes as the girls finished their lunch and ate custard. Sadly, I couldn't eat any. Miss Zia would have thanked me by vomiting all over me, so for now I'm dairy free.

We finished decorating the tree once we got home. We have some really low ornaments, but most of them are wood, cloth or plastic, so they shouldn't break if the kids or cat knock them off.
