Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Santa's Request

I made these for the girls' teachers. I figured they get a ton of cookies around Christmas time and a clipboard should be something they use. One of them was very excited. I don't know about the other as she did not open hers in front of us.

Zia loves to take a nap toward dinner time. When she does, she goes to bed really late. Today she fell asleep close to 5:00. I tried so hard to wake her, but she had other plans. Thankfully I was able to get her up within 10 or 15 minutes, so she only went to bed about 90 minutes after she should. She's just like her older sisters. If she has a quick recharge she has no interest in going to bed. She only took one other nap today for just over an hour. She's a little trooper and is still happy even when she's over tired.

April will think twice the next time she turns down a request from Santa.
