We had a great day today. We went to a fourth of July party sponsored by a local bank. My MIL was invited to attend and thankfully was allowed to bring family members with her. The girls and we all had an amazing time. The party started with champagne and ended with rootbeer floats. In between there was gyros, roasted pig, hot dogs, chicken, Indian food, mac and cheese, candy for the kids, cotton candy, pie, snow cones, beer, wine, locally made soda and just about anything else you could want.
We brought the Ergos with us thinking that the kids might fall asleep in them. We were wrong. The kids were having a great time and had no desire to sleep. They both stayed awake until the beginning of the fireworks at 9:30. Arya fell asleep shortly after, but Eiley stayed awake the entire time and didn't fall asleep until after 10:30. I'm sure there will be hell to pay tomorrow, but it was worth it.
