Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Late Garden

We did a "picnic" in the family room again last night. The girls got to eat pizza and watch a movie. Cork moved their picnic table and cleaned up the floor after they went to bed. This morning, they asked to eat in the family room. I told them they couldn't and used the excuse that I couldn't move the picnic table myself. They took that as a challenge and moved the table on their own. How could I argue with that?

After breakfast, we ventured outside to plant our garden. We're super late on this. I bought some heirloom tomato plants and figured that would be all we had this year besides a few herbs. We had a ton of free seeds from a neighbor though, so Cork decided to plant those and if we end up neglecting the garden then no harm done. The girls loved planting. They threw lettuce seeds everywhere. We're going to have lettuce sprouting in the yard and possibly in every row of the garden.
