Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Somersaults and Cartwheels

We had a playdate scheduled for this afternoon. The family was pretty late, for a good reason, but I still was left entertaining the girls for a couple hours while they were bummed their friends weren't here. We spent a lot of time doing ballet, which if you know me, you know that I don't have a clue how to dance ballet. The girls don't know that and had a great time. We moved the family room table and did somersaults. Do you know that it's pretty much impossible to get a nine month old to do a somersault? Zia would not tuck her head and just kept laughing when I'd try to get her into a ball to roll. I showed the kids how to do cartwheels. I haven't done one of those in years. I'm glad to say I can still do one. My kids can't though. I don't know if they or I was more entertained with them trying to do cartwheels. We finished with a little wrestling match. Even Zia got in on that. I was laying on the ground with the twins. She dragged herself over to us, got on her knees, slammed herself onto me and yelled. The twins and I cracked up.

Yesterday the twins ran around in just unde.r.wear all day long. Today Eiley had on two pairs and Arya had on three. Over that they wore leotards and then pants and a sweatshirt. I think they were plenty warm.
