We had Arya and Eiley's fourth birthday party today. It was a great small party with a few friends and family. Arya and Eiley decided months ago that they wanted an Ariel and Keeta cake. Of course I couldn't find a Keeta, so I bought an Ariel cake topper and painted the hair. Arya wanted her to have different colored eyes, eyebrows, and tail too, but settled for "drippy yellow hair." Yesterday, she told me she wanted a Dumbo cake. Sorry kid. Too late to change. I did manage to put the coral, seaweed, and "Cabastians"/Sebastian's on the cake that they requested.
We only gave them two presents today. The first was the Ariel dresses I made because I wanted them to get to wear them at the party. The second was an American Girl jeep. It was too big for any boxes or gift bags that we had, so we put it in a trash bag. Arya asked "Is it garbage?"
