Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Bite Marks

Zia was climbing today, fell, and bit her tongue. It is amazing how much blood comes out of a tooth puncture wound. She was crying, so drooling a lot. The blood just kept coming and coming. Her shirt was covered in it and so was the kitchen floor and a trail through the house. It took awhile to stop bleeding, but when it did, she stopped crying. I gave her our normal dinner tonight, but she seemed to be having some issues eating, so I pulled a squeeze packet of apple peach sauce out of the basement. She happily ate that instead. We also gave her some ibuprofen tonight in hopes that she, and we, will be able to get a good night sleep. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the dark spot behind the food. That's just a tiny section of the bite marks she gave herself.

Eiley came home from school today talking about the things her class did. She was super excited about the cupcakes they had for someone's birthday. I was excited to hear that her teacher seems to be taking notes from Arya's amazing teacher.
