Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

DC Day 2

We spent our second and final full day in DC today. We were walking by the White House when we were told that the first lady would be leaving soon. We didn't have an interest in hanging around just to wait to maybe see her in a car, so instead we sat at a fountain to eat our breakfast. If she happened to come out that way, we would see her. If she didn't, we would have had our breakfast in a nice place. While we were eating, I heard a big clomping sound. I turned to find these guys behind us. They walked right up and started drinking out of the fountain. They were huge horses and a lot of fun to see.
