Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

My Go ByeBye

The girls decided they needed to go bye bye today. That meant that they put on their winter boots and Arya threw on a backpack. They just ran around the house yelling "my go byebye" and laughing.

After they settled down, we sat to read books. We have this "Dear Zoo" book from the library right now. It talks about writing to the zoo for an animal, all the wrong animals a kid gets and finally getting a puppy from the zoo and how it was perfect. Each page has a flap to open that reveals a new animal the zoo sent that has to be sent back for some reason. Usually when the kids open the flaps they name the animals behind them. Today, Arya started yelling "Yion" (lion) for every animal. Eiley quickly caught on and both were cracking up at their joke.
