The girls got presents today from Auntie Karen. They were just as enthusiastic about ripping these gifts open as they were on Christmas day. Eiley was so excited when she saw her new cat book. She was giggling, clapping, saying "kiddddy" and just not quite sure how to express how excited she was. Arya had to come take a look at Eiley's book right away. They love all the books they got, but the cat one was the best.
For a long time, the kids have been given forks and spoons while eating. They just started using them where they can actually get something on the fork or spoon and get it to their mouths. Arya in particular will stop and make sure I'm watching her before she moves her flatware off of the plate and to her mouth. We have a bunch of bright colored forks, spoons and knives for the kids. Of course they prefer the silverware we use.
