Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Flying High

The girls flew today with us to San Diego. They were a bit cranky on the flight and I think it would have been a disaster if we hadn't had our Ergos. We put them both in those, stood in the aisle and rocked them back and forth. They did not want to fall asleep with us holding them, but for some reason the Ergo always puts them out while they are tired.

Last year, when we flew to Dallas, Midwest (now Frontier) airlines lost our luggage and never found it. They lost almost all of the girls 0-3 month size clothing that they had just grown into. Almost all the things we had packed, the girls had worn one or never. This year, we flew American, and they bent our stroller all up. They wouldn't let us bring it on the plane with us, but consider it a "fragile" item and won't do anything about practically destroying it. It still rolls, but the part that they bent all up is the part that folds the stroller and it's aluminum. It's only a matter of time now before that part gives way from the stress of repeated bending. The guy who we talked to in San Diego was not apologetic at all about the stroller.
