Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

Sand and Ice

Today we went for a hike up a little mountain. It was a great hike that took us somewhere between an hour and a half and two hours. The girls slept almost the entire time in the Ergos, which is yet another reason I love those things. The girls do not sleep well away from home, so time in the car or Ergos is always needed.

After the hike, we took our stinky selves to a great farmers market, where the girls got some time out of the stroller to dance to street performer music.

In the afternoon, we all took off to the Coronado Hotel. The girls got to watch people ice skating outside, right by the beach. Then, they got to walk on the beach for the first time. They had a ball! Eiley loved getting her hands in the sand and was covered by the time we left. Arya was a little more dainty and wasn't so sure about getting her hands covered with the sand.
