Welcome to the Roe household blog. We're attempting to post 365 days of pictures in a Roe. Cork and I have been married since 2002 and welcomed identical daughters in August of 2009 after a struggle with infertility. Our girls were definitely worth the wait and I say they were destined to be here because they were conceived on my birthday, due on my sister's birthday and born on my grandma's birthday. What are the chances of that! We welcomed our third daughter in June of 2012. We all fell in love with her right away. She has two amazing older sisters who love to watch over her.

To Grandmother's House We Go

It's my mom's birthday today, so we loaded into the car once Cork was done with work and headed to Nana and Papa's. I kept the kids awake most of the afternoon, only allowing a quick nap, in hopes that they'd sleep instead of cry during the 80 or so minutes it takes to do the drive. My plan worked pretty well. Eiley slept most of the way, only being hysterical the last 10 minutes. Arya slept well too. She woke up and whined, but didn't do a full out tempter tantrum scream like Eiley. They went to bed much later than normal, but that was much better than the alternative of them crying for 80 minutes and me cramming myself between their car seats in the back of my Civic. Thankfully my hips didn't get too big during pregnancy and I can squeeze myself in there when I need to.

  2. Tell me you didn't take that while driving LOL That's such a great idea to see their little faces, I just have no where to put a mirror in the middle of a van ;)

  3. Glad they slept for the most part! Violet is good in the car as long as it is moving. As soon as we hit our first red light it's all over.
